Like Mike, I'm curious about pricing as a retrofit as well. The GT2 buckets are pricey already. Also, if they won't be in any new builds until November, I wonder when will they be available to retrofit?

$4,730 isn't too bad for the seats, though it's not cheap either, considering this is extra cost over the stock seats.

Also consider that for track use, you can get seats like the Sparco Ergo, at about $1K each, which are comfortable, provide good lateral support from shoulders to legs, and have removable halos which provide important lateral protection for the head on track but can be removed on the street for better visibility.

If the Sparco seats fit, that might be the route I'd go: for an extra $2K, have both the stock seats and track seats.

Now all we need is a 5-lug wheel option with 18" or 19" wheels!
OK, maybe a RWS delete option too.

5 lugs and 18s ... OMG that would be the holy grail for the 991 GT3!

Are these available it the US? Are these seats the Lightweight Bucket Seats now being offered on the Porsche website?

I have a November delivery and would like to modify my build.

Thanks,
YOCOHO

November delivery? You are screwed like me.
November build? You are golden

I tried to delay my order in anticipation of this a few weeks ago, but the order locked and everyone's hands were tied at this point.

PCNA is requesting that these buckets become available for tequipment purchase. Hopefully the request is approved for poor souls like mine.

My build got locked a month or 2 ago and headed to the production line in a week. No chance of the seats. Someone will have to let me admire their seats instead. 18-ways for me. Oh well, there are pros & cons of each. Can't believe this option just opened up...ugh. Jealous of all you guys late to the "build party".

Just changed my order as well. Maybe getting shafted by Porsche wasn't so bad after all! Should make it easier to sell if nothing else.

Ray, delete RWS? You fricken nuts? RWS is what makes the GT3 so special.
