Default 991 The Failed GT3

Does anyone else think this generation GT3 may not be able to sustain any positive reputation or value in the future? It's been nothing but a dark cloud. How could this model ever be desired again?

Not sure how it can be considered a failed model when there is a line to purchase, and the delivery feed back has been outstanding. The owners on this board absolutely can't wait to drive their cars, and for us waiting we can't wait to drive it. Not sure I would considered that a fail?

Especially since every automobile journalist has talked about how terrible it is. NOT!

You guys are trying too hard to discredit this 991 GT3. Its showing more than ever. Give it a rest. You must have better things to do right?

Yes that color when you first posted it, made me completely question my choice. I think it is the best posted yet! O'well I'll have to live with the white.

OK, how about this one. No photoshop or nothing. Just a DSLR camera on auto. Notice the dark cloud in the rear of the car. I can't out run it.

I was so ashamed driving my GT3 after the engine replacement, so I ripped up the Porsche emblem on the hood, and replaced it with colorful BMW emblem. Since then all the ill feelings are gone and the dark cloud you refer to has been finally lifted and GT3 feels very desirable & sexy again. Hopefully my 991 GT3 brothers & sisters will follow suite if they think the dark cloud is haunting them

This GT3 looks good in every color. I saw a white one and a black one at the dealer and I even had second thoughts.

The op might be right. It doesn't rank as high as the previous GT3's so far. Give it time - it may redeem itself. Do I want one, not really. I wanted every past GT3.

Dude - that is a great pic!

This thread cracks me up!

If not ranking as high means higher performance, I'll take it.
