Default PDLS PLUS No longer listed for LED's

PDLS PLUS No longer listed for LED lights on the configurator....

Only PDLS.

The price remains the same.

Thanks to Nick for his work on this!

So wait, did they make PDLS on the 991 GT3 be identical to PDLS+? Because losing that option is a huge loss in my opinion. PDLS+ is a whole new level of amazing headlights...

PDLS Plus has the Hi Beam Assistant
High Beam Assistant
When a camera located inside the rear-view mirror detects the headlights of an oncoming vehicle, the high beams are automatically turned off at a distance of approximately 2,600 feet. If the taillights of a vehicle traveling in front are detected, the high beam is then turned off at a distance of approximately 1,300 feet.

PDLS (what you now get)
Includes:
LED Main Headlights
Full LED headlights with low/high beams in LED technology, automatic headlight leveling and LED 4-point daytime running lights surrounded by the LED light ring.

Dynamic Cornering Light
Dynamic cornering lights swivel the low beam in accordance with cornering characteristics, depending on the steering angle.

Speed-Dependent Headlight Range Control
Speed-dependent headlight range control increases light distribution after 3,300 feet at 68 mph or higher, or immediately after 81 mph and above provided the steering wheel is not turned sharply.

Sport Mode
Activated in Sport mode - allows for greater swivel angle depending on steering input.

Headlight Cleaning System
Washer system used to clean the headlight housing in order to effectively maintain optimal lighting while vehicle is in use.

So- they have done away with the plus on future GT3s??, Why?

Also- I ordered the LEDs 10 months ago so I have the plus feature?

No - none of the GT3's ever had Plus - different rear view mirror (no camera) and different software. Other 991's have it - no idea why this got cut from the GT3 - same situation as 18-way seats. Price is the same as other 991's with the correct equipment. Go figure.

Jimmy, they never had Plus in the first place, AFAIK. Like the memory seats and Bluetooth issues, some of the descriptions in the configurator and elsewhere were generic to all Porsches. For whatever reason (saving a few ounces?) the GT3 isn't equipped with some of the features that are available with certain options in other cars.

I believe the configurator at one time also listed the GT3 as "Turbo wide body" and "AWD".
