Default Love this car!

Just took delivery last night, yes I am one of the elusive white GT3 owners, can't get over how great this car is! I was a bit concerned that it would as harsh as the 997.2 GT3 for road driving but incredibly comfortable considering what this thing can do, yet hit the sport chassis mode and bam, it feels just like a 997.2. Ditto my concern with the PDK my previous 2 cars were 7MTs but owned a e92 M3DCT and a e46 M3 SMG. I liked the SMG much better than the DCT it just felt like a manual gearbox and not an Auto like the DCT. I was disappointed with the standard PDK but this gearbox fixed all my concerns, really feels like a manual, feathering the accelerator pedal allows you real precise control and feel of the clutch engaging yet no slip or hesitation. steering feel is ridiculous compared to the 991S and I don't miss hydraulic vs the new electronic, perfect for me. All the feel I want without the exertion. LED headlights look the business and perform much better than the standard PDLS
Not obvious on standard roads but in the mountains with no ambient lighting really shows those elk way ahead of xenons another good choice for those who drive in obscure areas with limited road lighting. Yes I, like others, feel the white looks just fantastic in person something you need to see live to judge, but all colors go away as soon as you are behind the wheel.
Well worth the wait , anyone still on the fence jump onboard you will not be disappointed.
I never believed in true love.......until now!

Awesome, congrats. I can sense the 997 GT3 prices sinking already....

I can see that happening for the simple reason this car is much more livable. Easily a daily driver and track monster on the weekends. I felt the 997.2 GT3 was just too harsh for the road, loved it on the track, but many would simple not tolerate it on the roads. It amazes me the range this car really has, in track mode it just is a beast, turn in is magic and the PDK-S gives you full control of the engine just without a clutch. I think the 997.2 RS will come down as well in time

Outstanding race7117! I've said all along that as soon as they start driving this car and experience it's incredible range of capabilities, any concerns of most prospective owners will simply fall away. Congrats!

Congrats, race7117! It is great to hear how much everyone is enjoying their GT3s! I am also in Denver and am expecting my white GT3 at the end of October. Can't wait to run it through the mountains before the snow settles in!

Race7117: thanks for the update. Glad to hear it about the LED lights. I had been on the fence about them big time, and had heard so many conflicting views about whether there was a performance upgrade on them vs. in the U.S. DOT-approved configuration of them (w/out some of the high-speed intensity features), but flipped a coin and got them anyway. Prefer the look (I think) aesthetically of the eye-like xenons, but whatever, I'm sure once I get to turn the key I won't care a ____ thing about any of the options I chose.

Does the PDLS+ have the Hi-beam assist? (has the camera in the rear view)
How do you like it?
