I got AIM Solo DL... comes w/ ODBC cable or you can make a can.. I use the same device on my BMW 1000rr motorcycle, which is cool.

I havnt done the car yet, but it looks like most people mount on the front window..

But, seriously, I'll most likely go with AiM SoloDL via CAN, connected to a AiM SmartyCam HD. There are a couple of threads discussing this in the 991 GT3 forum but see this thread for starters.

I got my AIm Solo DL and Smarty cam set up from Peter Krause, Procoach here on RL. He set up a package for me including suction mount for the windshield for the Solo DL and a roll bar mount for the smarty cam. I'm just starting to use the data but lots of potential for analysis and insights. I'd recommend contact Peter.
