You need the painted keys for the strippers.
As for the wart; the problem is I think it completes the dash. Plus; it now lights up at night not like the one years ago. Is it worth $1800 - hell know but you can say the same for a lot of their options.
The painted key at $395 seems like a bargain compared to the $1800 for the wart

Right now the Track App is an option on top of - but I don't know if it's one of those jobs where you need SC to get it. From what I undetstand Launch Control is included without the need for SC, like the old 997.2 Turbo - and whatever else could do it - needed SC for Launch control. It's like when you see a PDK car without SC of the Flappy Paddles and you have to wonder who in the hell configured the car and what drugs were they using?

Jimmy, I agree that it falls in the same category as many other spendy options and you cannot pick everything apart or you'll drive yourself crazy. I think the shocker here is the $1,400 increase over last year. Now I'm headed over to ebay for my painted key!

The Track App on the Porsche website shows more details and pics now. They state that video is superimposed on your smartphone with driving data. So does this mean that they have a camera included with this option? 3rd party video camera? or pre-recorded video data that is superimposed using GPS?
