Okay - Now that you all have seen the "Metallic white" and like the contrast in the shade; would you now still consider "fashion grey" as a PTS and a ~$5000 option??

I wouldn't pay 5k for fashion grey. Interestingly PTS is full of colors I wouldn't choose for free. Some good choices, but some just don't make me turn. Very happy with metallic white, and honestly I think it will be a unique color same as Aqua blue on my 991S.

Confirms that white looks better with grey headlights instead of black.

Cool color that metallic white

Anyone think that white Porsches would look good with white wheels?

I think they would look great but what a mess keeping them clean. Plus; I would first like to see how the original wheels will chip because that would determine what I do next.

Jimmy. They chip - trust me! depends however how you drive the car. On the road not si much (one in 2000 miles) on the track and fast back roads quite a bit (+5-6 in less than 1000 miles). Thats my experience anyway and its backed up by others here using the car "in anger" too. If you own the car for 3 years at some stage you will want to freshen up the wheels is my opinion...

The white metallic is a beautiful colour. Had I on my 335i. The spectrum of shades depending on the lighting was fabulous.
Having said that I decided for alpine white for M3. I think that plain white fits purpose sports car much better. Mineral colours are rather for GT cars but that is only how I see it.
Another important factor that made my choice was that mineral white is extremely hard to fix. If you can fix it at all that you would not recognise that one panel of your car has been painted.
And that is what is going to happen to our sports car if we track them (I mean the small paint chips)

I do.

Very 80'ish but I really prefer this over full black rims.
