I hope this isn't true, but if it is it's pretty disappointing. That means if you're cat C that you get a 2015 car with 2014 options! (I'm cat C)

Not true if you have a 2015 it has the full spec, but the buyer is only paying the 2014 price of 400.00 for the sports chorno. The buyer is being made whole on the options from 2014 that had a 2015 price increase nothing more.

As I understand it, a Cat C can order a 2015 with the 2015 options. If there were specific options in their canceled 2014 build order that have changed on the 2015, then they can request to get the 2014 2015 version of that option at the 2014 price.

Sorry error posted incorrectly. This is incorrect. The buyer will get the 2015 version at the 2014 price which is fair.

I am a Cat C guy, now with a 2015 order in the system. PMVS clearly shows that the Sport Chrono option on my build is Option Code 643 which is the 2015 version of Sport Chrono with the precision track app.

My understanding from speaking with PCNA and my dealer is that Cat C buyers that had the old Sport Chrono option will receive the 2015 version at 2014 MSRP.

No way, this would create a bastard car. There is no way Porsche would sell a 2015 car with anything other than 2015 options installed.

Just check your updated build sheet. It does not give you the option of buying 2014 options on a 2015 model. If you order Sports Chrono on 2015 it will have the precision app.

That is true but Porsche will give you that option at the 2014 price.

Correct. As long as it was on your original 2014 order. If not, then you have to pay the 2015 price.
