My check just arrived via FedEx Express. It has been 17 days from the time I sent the release form via snail mail on July 18, so figuring transit time from CA to Atlanta the actual turn-around once PCNA started their process was almost exactly two weeks, as promised.

I wasn't able to pick up my car immediately after it's return because I had just begun a 2 week vacation. Regardless, the amount of the check was prorated to the date I actually took possession, not the date the car arrived at the dealer, so PCNA wasn't stingy with the partial month compensation. The difference between ROW and US compensation aside, I'm satisfied.

Thanks for the update, Mike. Good to hear that they are using the actual delivery / re-delivery dates.

Mine was 50K, with 10 year 500,000 mile warranty. Maybe because red cars get different treatment?

And the White vs. Guards Red battle rages on.

Sam--I'll be able to formally join your side in a matter of 1-2 weeks.

This sounds like a "whose is bigger" contest.

I am confused and maybe you guys can clarify. Car is on truck from port due to arrive at dealership this weekend. I ordered and paid the p 07 2635 for the memory seats. Are you saying that there is no memory on the seats. What did you guys do about that and how should I go about getting a refund for it? Dealer? Porsche? Who did you gusy call. thanks

There is no memory on the seats. Monroney (window stickers) were updated to reflect this mistake in the order system / configurator.

As stated, Porsche made a mistake, but they also didn't charge for it. Just compare the cost of the 18 way seats on the GT3 with the same option on a C2S.

OK, fine. The red cars are fast too. I still don't believe it but don't want to argue.
Also no way to recoup the mistake about memory seats. I ordered a Panamera GTS which just arrived at port and only two days before it's arrival, was notified that the configurator mistakenly added the cooled seats to the Premium plus package so my car won't have that option. I personally don't care but my wife does. I Pitched a fit and all that Porsche agreed to do was give the dealer an extra allocation with a September build date if I so chose. I'll take the current car but it goes to show what their train of thought is. Since I have a strong relationship with my dealership, they further discounted the $800+ cost of that option. However, on a global error like the GT3's memory seat, ain't gonna happen.
