Default Black or Platinum wheels?

Hey guys I'm sure this has been talked before and it's a matter of preference but I still haven't seen that wheel in black in person.

My car is going to be white with PCCB, do you guys do the BLACK or PLATINUM wheels ?

I'm thinking black would be more agressive but at the same time would hide the nice lines of the wheels ..

Thx for the feedback

Tc

Interesting topic .......I ordered white metallic and have been going back and forth too. The black looks aggressive, but the platinum looks very nice also with line detail as you mentioned. Thus I stayed with platinum, and I can't wait until my order locks so I can stop changing.

This is the Carrara white you are talking about ? My 991 TTS is the regular white and was thinking about this metallic one, would you have a picture that shows the difference?

Too bad Porsche doesn't offer a semi-gloss finish. IMO, their high-gloss black is a bit too shinny. To be fair, I haven't seen them on the 991 GT3 wheels yet.

Racing Yellow with black wheels will be my choice. With white i'd still get black wheels.

I like race cars more than street cars though.

Why not silver wheels? That was my choice...

Would have done the metallic carrera wht but was not an option ions ago when I finalized my order.

One thought on the metallic wht tho if tracking, should consider difficulty matching that color if paint work is req (recalling white pearl essence from the 964 era)

Sorry I don't have a picture going out on a limb. Google it, and a few good shots will come up. I like the standard white, but wanted a white with metallic that would pop while being different. My car arrives in November.

Go with the Platinum. You can always paint gloss black or powder coated black later
