Very pretty in black metallic and red stitching, red seat belts! Really looking forward to track time in #1 or #2 GT3 tomorrow in the Masters Class. The track itself is amazing and the instructors are all top notch. Had great cool weather all week in the 80's which is amazing for July in Alabama!

Some buddies and I did the Porsche Masters course back in April. We actually had Hurley Haywood do our orientation, and did our morning track session with him as our instructor! Brian Cunningham, Cass Whitehead, Owen Tinkler, Peter Litzenberger were some of the notable instructors.
We'll definitely be going back to do the Masters Plus early next year.

Ok, I know you all know this, but that car is absolutely amazing!
It was all and more than I dreamed of!
Yeah the Turbo S was fun, but doesn't even come close to the
GT3 on the track. The power coming on at 3-4000 Rpm and
Constant all the way to 9000! And yes I took it to 9000 every time.
2 places to go to second gear on the track... Turn 5 and the bottom of the corkscrew turn 9. It sounds absolutely wonderful with Sport exhaust. Plenty loud. Very loud. The car had about 950 miles on it, so I let it rip!
All the same instructors mentioned plus Andrew, Sean, Doug, Alex, Rich Hull, and Eric. All very very good!! The last session was in the pouring rain and it really honed our skills.
Sometimes the rain isn't a bad thing.
The masters plus class has more time in the GT3 if you are interested.

Three Wheelin'
I am hoping that when I am there to drive the 918 in Sept that I can potentially talk them into letting me drive a GT3 since I will still be waiting for delivery...

I thought the 918 customers got to do everything they want!
Here's a real fun turn in the GT3... Turn 5.

Rob,
It was great meeting you at PSDS.
To all: The two programs are superb, even better back to back. The icing on the cake was getting to drive the GT3 for 4 laps.
It inspired me so much I came home and put over 200 miles on mine, mainly on Palomar mountain road. Just awesome.

That Palomar road looks very well suited for your baby! Really jealous you got to come home yours! Congrats!

Is that Eric Huffman? Nice guy, we rode Ducatis together when I lived atl, and he was instructing the basic Porsche course at barber when I took it... I felt like the whole program was quite expensive, and too much for my budget, so I only took the first class... However, it was really nice to get the laughable "fastest man in the world " award at the end, when considering how much bragging ab track experience I had heard from everyone there on day 1... :-)
Was also fun to do the autocross course with Hurley Haywood.. I'm sure the masters course would be amazing!
