A little faster than the 991 GT3 - 0-333km/h in Porsche 918

McLaren were the ones who claimed the sub 7:00 Ring time for the car; seems like an embarrassing engineering snafu if their ERS can't last a full lap. As for the Ferrari, we'll see what kind of Ring numbers it actually posts, if and when it ever does. That aside, what I find amusing is when people say the 918 is "slow" and "not in the same league" when compared to the other two cars. That will be determined only by head to head match ups, and real world numbers, not hype. My $.02....

Both are far more expensive, but neither have raw data yet, only claims. I don't doubt it is possible at all, but so far nothing solid. Ferrari is claiming a 6:35 ring time, but again, still just a claim.

Given then fact that McLaren nor Ferrari will not post ring times and Ferrari forbids the use of performance measuring devices in their cars tells me all I need to know. Ya ya, the 918 is heaveir. Just like the heavier GTR has been kicking the crap out of super cars for years. They all have outrageous power. Traction and agility will be better on the 918. It will beat the P1 and the La Ferrari on the Nurburgring and most other tracks as well. IMO.

I would not be surprised if the 918 will out perform the Ferrari and P1. Porsche always post very good numbers but I still think the other two are better looking/more exotic

The Ferrari looks fantastic in pictures. In person, I was underwhelmed by the P1 and very impressed by the 918. The 918's styling is true to it's no nonsense, form follows function Teutonic heritage and the other cars are true to their marques as well. I have my preferences, but it's all very subjective.
