Get the 2014, or the 2015? Depreciation Question

Hey Ryan, its June 2015 and your in the market for a 991GT3. There are two available with the same mileage, condition and price. The only difference is one is a 2014 with a 5 year 100,000 warranty and the other a 2015 with a four year 50,000 warranty.
Which would you choose?
Now assume the 2015 is priced $10,000 higher because it is a 2015. Which would you choose?
In either case if you know your cars and I believe you do, the decision is a no brainer.

I didn't mean to get everyone so riled up.
I have read the warranty certificate that is supplied when an engine replaced GT3 is returned to the owner and I see the 1 year extension, but not the mileage increase. Do you have confirmation that the one year extension includes extending coverage to 100k miles?
The OP stated he is only in for 2 years of ownership. In two years the 2015 will have a higher residual value. My original pre-condition was that if the OP currently owns an exciting car he could easily wait and get the 2015 to his exact specs.
The OP stated that the dealer that offered the 2014 is using him as a backup in case the buyer that ordered the car backs out. Likely he is not the only "backup" being courted by this dealer.
In the end it's entirely up to the OP. Certainly if a well optioned 2014 with engine replacement complete was avail at my local dealer today, I would have a hard time resisting, but then again I sold my ZR1 nearly a year ago and I'm ready and waiting for the replacement.

I think in this case; if the Dealer is playing games, which I have no time to tolerate, go with the 2015 - if you feel you can wait.
I can not stand some of these Dealers- no wonder the reputation - no offense for any one in the business

Ryan, I understand. Maybe it is a backhanded way of me (bite my tongue) saying that if anything the 2014s' will hold their value better than the 2015s'. Why? Because the 2014s' have a five year warranty and 100,000 mile warranty ( I been told this by PCNA but I don't have it in writing). In other words, 2015s' will depreciate more assuming the condition of the two cars are the same. Also, don't forget there is a price increase on the 2015 model and it is essential the same car.
I know it appears counterintuitive but that probably will be the case.

Depending on the season and location, 2 years from November will not be the ideal time to sell. It'll probably be 2 1/2 years. 2 years from July is a little more workable. That's just my opinion.
