400 hp seems about right for porsche. We all want more, but they have to keep the gt3 faster.

425hp would still keep an adequate gap.

Let's remember that the GT4 would be a 2016 model (no GT3's for that year and then in MY2017 we get facelift GT3 with even more power if history is a guide)

No way is the GT4 more than 400 hp, unless they go turbo.

You have some information or just stating an opinion? I have a good source that claims the X51 motor is a strong candidate.

That makes sense--if anything, maybe overlap with the RS, which will slot and punch higher than the GT4. But if the debuts when the GT3 is not in current production, would prevent direct comparisons in the model lineup.

Porsche--masters of product niche engineering!

The historical trend is 2 year production, break, then 2 year facelift production for each generation that spans 7 years total. Of course, the RS is delayed this time, so it could overlap. And this doesn't count special models like RS 4.0.

How does Panorama have inside info like this?.. Are they the official magazine? Or just healthy conjecture.. Interesting piece nonetheless.

Ok, so NA and no manual it seems.. Who is in, and who is out? ;-)

Just because it has PDK-S doesn't mean manual is not on the table too. From what I heard, there would be two gearbox options (unless they decided to use a turbo motor, in which unlikely case it would be PDK only). But I heard the PDK mules are lapping he Ring 4 sec faster than manual. Even so, I'll shift my own, thank you! Deposit In!

NA good, PDK-s only too bad, but it's this car or an RS and it's likely PDK I-s as well.
If it's all GT3 except for the motor, it may be OK.

Remember is will be lighter so it may make up for some hp deficit.
But it won't drive fun like, like a 911 but neither does the 991..
