Had some fun last weekend at Road Atlanta in my GT3. Matched my best 1:34 lap time from my GT4 in the 2nd session, then backed off a lot... OEM everything,

But took a rubber nugget straight to my camera lens cover. Oh well... that's why it's a cover! No damage to the VIRB.

Happens just before the 1min mark.... 4k video if you can handle it.

Very nice! That's a cool viewpoint. I was out there as well... That fog though! I did a 1:39 with an extra 200#. I'm pretty much a 1:35 or so on a best day. Definitely not the fastest out there. And plenty of reasons not to be.

Chasing my brother-in-law in his 991.1 GT3 and TRAKCAR zips by us like we are a bunch of Prius'.

Hah! Stiff collar helps with Hans not chafing fat neck.
Plus it’s getting cold (50’s today!!) so I had to wear all my clothes

Thank you.
They always seem to go pretty much head 2 head with RS on Hoosiers.
They are a little faster in slow corners, but slower on straights but they have enough exit speed that I can’t get there.
And usually well driven when they are racing them. In this case a pro, so I was smiling and learning hoping initially he wouldn’t let me by and soon I was barely hanging on haha.

Good job! Probably only 1-2 seconds left in it. A pro in the same car, but with DSC and alignment tweaks, told me his best time was low 18s. I don't usually bother to get lap times, but my faster laps are in the 19s, and virtual best is 18.5. Will try to log an actual lap in the 18s next season and will post it up.

New PB in a 991.1 GT3 at Laguna. Got a little held back by the grey RS because he had to lift to pass sound, but still got 1:36.1 is not bad for an old model ;-). MPSC2 tires (fresh)

Also, playing with 991.1 RS and 991.2 RS:
