Unfortunately. But there are some decent roads around. And eventually I hope to make my way up to the Adirondacks to drive it as it sounds like there are some nice roads to drive there.

Call me stupid/crazy, but from the videos "the last 1,000 rpm" i'm not drooling over. I think it has to do w the microphone over capturing the wind noise plus engine noise, it sounds kinda----not to so pleasant. I need to here it in person.

Not stupid or crazy, sounds terrible, agree. That is because the mic can't handle the sound level and what you are hearing has no resemblance to the real thing. It's like comparing apples to shoes.

I don't know how much but it has to be over 5 or 6 db because it is quite noticeable, especially between 3-7K. I forgot the weight savings but I'm not sure I was able to notice a handling difference before and after.

The track is really the only safe place to drive.

Sharkwerks muffler bypass weighs 12lbs less than OEM center exhaust.

...this is possibly the greatest overdub editing job ever ...the engine sound was probably captured at the track and perfectly matched to a sped up video of a very relaxing early morning Sunday drive , right Sam ?

Sounds just right to me, and even got my dog howling in approval.

Thumbs up

Hey Sam - after seeing the picture of the Cargraphic exhaust tips on your car, I ordered a set from Vivid Racing. I got them yesterday, and although I won't have my GT3 until November, when I compared them to another set of tips I bought from Shark Werks (90mm for 991 GT3) at the same time I bought their exhaust bypass, the Cargraphics are at least an inch shorter than the Shark Werks tips. When you installed your Cargraphic tips, did they come out flush to the lip around the exhaust like stock or are they shorter and tucked in more?
Thanks for clarifying - trying to figure out if they sold me tips for a previous gen GT3 before my car's here and I've lost time waiting to correct it, or maybe I need to have a spacer manufactured?

Hi Bruno,
They fit just like stock and I love the way they look with the perforated inserts. No issues at all and I plan to carry them over to the RS. Good luck.
Sam
