I have used C-Quartz Finest Ceramic Coating and Opti-coat as part of a complete new car prep package. In my opinion, it depends more on the skills of the applier than the particular coating used. Please check out this link from my detailer (no affiliation) for pros and cons: http://vive-houston.com
But..that said, I've heard that Modesta is the new top dog in terms of coatings.
I'll likely still go with OptiCoat bc my car is wife though. If it were any other color? Modesta.

I have just moved money back to Chicago in preparation for the call it is here. I am ready right now and have bought all my goodies. We only had 5 months of preparation

Would not it be great if we all can arrange next Spring to meet in the middle of the US with the reclassified 2014/15s also. I would make the hall for a couple of days of fun.

I'll have insurance organised tomorrow and I'm on leave for two weeks from COB Thursday. I'm hoping I'll be able to pickup my car on Friday, otherwise it will be Saturday.
The STi goes into storage, to make room in my garage, on my way to pickup the GT3!

I'll have insurance organised tomorrow and I'm on leave for two weeks from COB Thursday. I'm hoping I'll be able to pickup my car on Friday, otherwise it will be Saturday. Engine finally arrived at my dealer today for the swap! Should pick her up at the start of next week. I will have an alignment done & my SW bypass installed immediately and I’ll have a few days to put on some good break-in miles just ahead of 3 track days booked at 2 different tracks next weekend (next Friday/Saturday/Sunday). I might even hit a 3rd track on the Monday if I can get away from work that long. Ready to make up for lost time……pics & track videos coming soon.
