Owen Hayes-interesting answers
Great interview with Owen Hayes-heads the Porsche NA team running RSRs-in the new edition of Panorama.
BTW,great work Pete Stout,Pete VB and others! Lots of
Great perspective on the new flat 4 engines too!
If you do not get Panorama you don't know what you're missing!
Back to Owen Hayes...great questions, right " on the money " (don't know how much I'm allowed to reveal) :
"The current RSR is based on Carrera 4,is there an RSR based on the 991GT3RS coming?
-Development guys will decide... "
"The Carrera 4 uses the 9A1 flat six. How is the RSR's older Mezger engine homologated?
-We only need the chassis of a street car,we don't need all the road car components... "
Most interesting question : " Is there a time limit for the Mezger homologation?
-No,not that I'm aware of... "
These are only excerpts, much ample interview in the new Panorama.
