I never liked the California; and this current one doesn't change my opinion much.

but consider this:

1) the previous California is Ferrari's best selling model of all time;

2) approx 70% of California buyers are first-time Ferrari owners

THAT to me, sounds like a smashing commercial success for the company.

Ferrari sure found the sweet spot with that car, from a market segmentation point-of-view!

+1 - not everyone wants a loud GT3 or 458 Speciale. The F California - while not for me, is excellent at what it is designed to be. It is not excellent at being loud and going to the track. No need to bash it or try and stereotype people that buy it. It just makes you look "small" - in every possible way.
