Default All nannies off = RWS off?

I heard someone say this.

Is that true? so no traction control, no torque vectoring, no stability management means no more RWS?

No, not correct. TV and RWS are permanent.

Does the GT3 have the options to turn off (deactivate) the RWS if one was to use snow chains? As per PAG this is a safety requirement for TT and TTS. It is a user controlled function in the module/menus. See pics below. Not sure one would want to deactivate RWS just for the fun of it, but then again, there are a lot of different definitions of fun.

GT3 with snow chains sounds like an interesting concept! Thankfully I live in South Carolina!!

AFAIK, there is no way to "turn off" RWS on the GT3....it's not affected by turning off ESC or ESC+TC.....and there's no setting for it in the MFD.

Edit: The articulation of the rear wheels on the GT3 is about half of what it is on the TT and TTS. Maybe that's why RWS doesn't need to be deactivated for chains. There's no mention of RWS in the section on snow chains in the manual....

The document source for the SIT is English version from PAG so it could be a ROW feature, but I agree it seems odd since the caution is due to rear wheel housing clearance concerns (that's why I initially asked about the GT3 as I would have thought the rear wheel housing clearance of the GT3 was similar to TT/TTS).

Documentation says access is from multi-function steering wheel menu via instrument cluster display (I'm assuming the thumbwheel). Thanks for checking. I may have to make a trip to the dealer soon, so if they have a TT or TTS with RWS I'll play around with the instrument display too.

I asked the head Tech at my dealer today. He said that this subject came up during their Factory Training, it was even in their training materials, but could not be found on the vehicle. Allan
