I am OUT...
Well guys, decided today that I am selling my car back to Porsche. I spoke with Andrea this afternoon and initiated the paperwork. As everyone here, I have been trying to be positive and wait. I constantly walk around the car in the garage, move it to get other cars out and I am done. I bought a McLaren a few weeks ago and love it and today just pulled a trigger on another Underground TT LP560. I want to have cars that I can enjoy when I want and not be scared just to start it to move it. I hope to be back in another GT3 later. I am still on the list for a GT3RS so we will see.
Good luck to all of you that are in the same situation! SW BTW, I am looking for a 2007-2008 Cayman S 6spd. I want a nice low mileage car. Going to convert it to run H class in PCA.. |
^ why not convert a new cayman? seems a lot are going with the caymans for racing

Congrats on the decision and moving on. Did you buy a used 12C or a new 650S? I recently drove a 12C and walked away stunned by the car. Very impressive machine!

.... stop sale thread and engine swap thread are good "I am out" forums ... think "value-added".

Why not take the money and sell after delivery? Should be an easy sell especially with an additional year warranty.
I don't want the car anymore, makes me sick to my stomach looking at it just sitting there.. I also have a feeling that whenever anyone asks, it that a '14 or a '15, the '14 will always have a bad stigma.. Congrats on the decision and moving on. Did you buy a used 12C or a new 650S? I lowered it, full clear bra & tint and have some HRE's coming.. https://www.fototime.com/41499C3F34E3967/large.jpg https://www.fototime.com/6C6B014B9EB4011/large.jpg |
Stunning looking car is white. Some of the darker colors does not do it service.

Saw Burgundy 12C Spyder on the street today. Yours looks better. Nice choice.
|
It's a gorgeous car for sure and like the GT3, is pretty in white. I think I have gotten so attached to my GT3 that it saddens me when enthusiasts like you sell theirs back :(
|
I would have done same think, SW. I am also in the market for a 12C. I was very impressed after driving one a couple times.

Almost 2 years now with my 12c. It's my daily and my track car. Super fast on street and track, super reliable, and comfortable. Nothing breaks, nothing squeaks. Best car I have owned. Bad stuff: nav totally sucks. Looking forward to the free 650s upgrades to us 12c owners that will be given next month.

Congrats, I love what you did. The white looks so nice on 12C. Hope PAG is reading. They lost their best customers. Big corp mentality, give them $2K a month and a1yr warranty. They clearly dont know their client base for GT3. They are in another planet :roflmao:

12c is awesome. I'm right there with you.
Thanks for wasting 6 months of my life PAG... |
