My experience is that people think they know the behavior of these cars from magazines, top gear, youtube reviews and brand loyalty. Go drive them for yourself and then make an informed opinion. I drove the 991 GT3, 458 and 12C. For me, and my intended use, the 12C was the right choice. No good or bad decision. All epic cars!

Well, I actually drove the **** out of my gt3, right thru the stop sale actually.

And in the 2300 miles i put on it, I think I'm qualified to say that I think the 12c is a better car, for me.

If someone that owns both cars, and has put real world miles on both, wants to chime in. I'd love to hear it.

I'm having a hard time though listening to the arguments of someone that hasn't driven a gt3 or a 12c, but feels the need to defend the gt3.

Sheesh...
I can completely respect you're points.

I am still curious though (and honestly, not being disrespectful nor facetious), how did you go from a GT3 to a Mac? I can see going from a TT to a Mac or some other, but I guess my surprise is this continued comparison of the GT3 to the Mac? (There's actually a whole other thread on this topic).

I believe the GT3 is simply Porsche's pure track dedicated car? The Mac, I don't believe is marketed nor built for similar purposes?

I have driven the 12C and recently the 650S.

For what I want from a car, I would not and did not trade in the GT3 for neither of them.

And believe me here in dubai you can get a barely used( 5000km) fully optioned out 12C for the same price as the GT3 so the pice wasn't the issue.

Just my opinion

I don't track my car. I do put 10k all weather miles on my car a year. I actually put more than that on my last 2 r8 because they were that good.

I've also had 4 gt3/rs now, so I knew what I was getting.

As it's been said, all epic cars, choose which one is best for you.

All, everyone entitled to their opinion. I do not like blondes but love brunettes. If your Wife is blonde and beautiful; sorry if I offended you, but just my personal preference.- sorry for this analogy but it is relevant. All these cars are excellent and we are splitting hairs. And I also understand that is what makes this forum fun because if we all agreed on everything there would be nothing to discuss/debate.
