No problem, rubbaman! As Sam says above it's better integrated into the dash on the 991 and I like the way it looks; breaks up that flat expanse of dashboard and adds a nice detail. Probably the kid in me, but I'm also tickled by the way the clock defaults to 12 noon and shuts off to save the battery when the car is idle, but as soon as you open the door it activates and whirs around the dial to the correct time.

Agree it looks better in the 991. 2015 it's priced at 1800 for an option I would never use such as in my 991S. It does look cool, but not 1800.00 cool.

Well it was $500 on my original build. I'm hoping they don't try to hose me for the increase. I guess if they don't charge me for the increase, Tim Quinn will say that is my compensation for waiting 6 months! "Look! We didn't raise the price of the car! You should feel compensated!"

There are several options that are priced higher in the current configurator. I've already told my dealer that between them, PCNA and PAG they are going to absorb the increase.

Curious Ryan, what else did you notice went up?

I only did this comparison for my options so here are the ones I noticed...

Leather Interior, 4 way seats (3320 -> 3480)
Sport Chrono (400 -> 1850)
PDLS in Black (1345 -> 1375)

Just a few here and there. Granted the Sport Chronograph in the MY2015 will have additional functionality. It is only in my order because my wife likes the aesthetics.

I was pretty direct with my salesman. Clearly the delay from MY2014 to MY2015 was a Porsche issue. Given the lack of a compensation plan for Cat C buyers combined with my personal feeling that I ordered a car at a stated MSRP price; I intend to pay the price agreed when I ordered.

VR,

Ryan

In the Vehicle Settings menu under Date/Time you must have the Time-Chrono box checked. If you don't have that box checked the time is only displayed digitally and the hands don't do the little dance.
