Default Anyone driving their cars?

Just curious if anyone has driven their car at all during the waiting period?

Yes. But I don't have a 991GT3.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Reality is it hasn't been THAT long considering the task at hand. But it's truly sad that this has happened. Hopefully coming to an end soon as it sure seems to be one hell of a car.

Nope. Backed it out of the garage a few times for various reasons and then let it run for a bit just to enjoy the sound, but no driving.

Would anyone admit it publicly?

While there is low risk the car would actually catch fire (mine has plenty of miles + 500 track miles), with all the publicity and communication between owners and Porsche, I would guess there would be a near zero chance Porsche or insurance companies replacing a car that gets engulfed in flames so no, I'm not driving mine. I do rev it hard every once in a while, especially with the engine cold and the baffles still open at low RPM. What a sound.

I know the feeling...

There was a PCA race at COTA this weekend, I used my Scud for DE portion. I wanted to at least drive the GT3 out there but did not...

I left it at the dealer to remove the temptation.

If I had mine I would do above and leave it at the Dealer to avoid temptation but make sure it is stored inside. If I had it in my garage there is no way I would be able to resist a short run around town. I hand it all to those that have it at their homes and have not gone for a joy ride. I drove mine for 500 more miles after the stop sale.

But I got tired of the drama from my dealer so I dropped it back off.
