The word is AP and five others having been tracking six GT3's at the Porsche track facility. From my standpoint the frustration level is growing. What I find particularly offensive is the continued time extensions two weeks here, three weeks there and so on. It is as though there are deliberately parceling out the information to keep us on the hook rather being honest and saying "look you will not see your cars until July/August or whatever." This is a major concern to me and the approach has alienated most of us. I fear the next call will be " your engine will be completed in (pick a time period) and once completed we will get back to you as to when you can expect the engine to be installed." The trickle of information and time tables is exasperating.

Maybe AP has signed a "non-disclosure agreement" since he probably has one in his garage and did a buyback : (. This "keeping out the owners out of the loop communication" or stringing it out is pure BS!!! I feel for u guys!!!! They coulda just give u a token of appreciation for the wait like a $500 voucher for whatever Porsche diecast models u want. Porsche has thee best diecast models from street to race- what a history!!! Mike

Totally agreed but I personally suspect the next call will be the install date (range). To reduce additional worldwide anger, I would think they will wait until they have built enough engines to replace those already delivered, then do a mass ship/install.

We all should differentiate the PR debacle due to PAG from the car and it's designer and developers. The GT3 feeds the senses of car enthusiast and if it didn't none of us would have had so many conflicting emotions about it. I'm other words, if it was that common of a car I think no one would hesitate to walk away from it and get something else. The turbos don't have that effects for sure. I'm sticking with my GT3 and could give ***t about depreciation.

Keeping it of course!
Having put some reasonable highish mileage on it with some proper hard european driving couldn't think of another car I would replace it with. Looks the bomb too. Cant wait to get it to redline again. last 700 rpm is memorable alright...

Keeping it, no doubt.
My first Porsche was a 1969 911 S. Currently own a 997 GTS. Have driven 996 & 997 GT3s and 996 & 997 Cup cars. I drove my 991 GT3 in Germany and believe me, it is a keeper. Tame enough to be driven on the street but morphs into a track beast when you push it. No way am I going to pass up this car.
I you want a 2014 991 GT3 at a fire sale price (no pun intended!) you won't get from me. Offer me 50% over MSRP and I will turn you down.

This is the latest update I received today. Wanted to pass onto the group.
We were advised Monday of last week that
PAG stated they would have the timeline to us no later then the end of next
week. If announcement comes out, let's say, late Friday the 9th, then the
two of us should be calling all delivered customers and at least one rep
from the PCC contacting non-delivered 2014 customers starting Monday May
12th. After we are done with delivered we will help to call non-delivered
14's and then '15s.
Thank you,
Ian Moon

With so many keeping their cars the market price should remain above MSRP for the '14 MY and that's a bummer. Kinda dreaming about a discount on the '14, myself.
I don't have one to hold or fold ... but I'd buy one with a replacement motor without a moments hesitation.
