Guys I applaud you for hanging in there with your cars; I'm a huge fan of this car. The reviews have been epic & reading them over again only solidifies this cars breath of abilities. Yes, I wish this that Porsche did a better job of dealing with this issue, but Chris Harris posted some great comments on PistonHeads, "It's simply the best motor I've experienced in years. To preclude living with that dreamy engine for the love of a third pedal might just be the great auto-existential question of modern times. And it's one to which, for the moment, the transmission does not form the basis of the answer."

Good luck guys...I'm anxiously waiting a happy ending to this

Keeping it!
There is no substitute in the same price range IMHO. Also I am positive Porsche will solve this problem and it will be forgotten in a few months.
They gave me very good service and their communication was quite good and fast as well. Too bad this has not been the case for most of you. I just consider it as a nice extra discount for a few months of time.

I bailed. If you don't mind the uncertainty, the disdain from Porsche and your car being yard art, oh and did I mention the potential depreciation, it's perfect. Epic my butt. Epic fail more like it.

No offense carcommander, but depreciation is clearly not a factor to most, including yourself......turbo depreciation is historically significant.

The GT 3 will once again be awesome.

Ouch! You really are pissed at Porsche. You need to distinguish between the car and the company. No doubt Porsche blew it but they are trying to crawl there way back with us.

As far as the car is concerned, the reviews are in and named the best performance car in 2014 beating several more expensive cars. A pretty good badge of honor to wear.

Keeping it.

I think if the poll could be repeated it would be yet more valuable and revealing, with distinction made between the 3 customer subgroups:

A: Delivered GT3
B: Nondelivered GT3 (i.e. at port, dealer, or factory but car completed)
C: Promised Allocation only (deposit received but car not yet completed production)

Thanks frayed ... nice idea with this poll. Great information about ourselves ...

I wanted it simple, and limited to 2014's. If any 991 GT3 will be shown to wear the scarlet letter, it'll be this one. While I've said before will say again, the 2014 991 GT3 will be functionally equivalent to the 2015, I'm interested in market perception. People punting on the 2014 is an interesting datapoint on how the most zealous, early list guys respond to the situation.

I'm actually surprised of the number of people punting, if the reporting is legit.

Frayed,
Can you verify the identity of the respondents to represent true GT3 customers, rather than any rennlister logging onto the forum. I.e. could someone without ANY skin in this game leave a response to your poll?

Unfortunately yes, anyone can skew a forum poll. I'm on my iPad using the app so I can't see it.

I'm sticking it out as well.

You guys waited that long what's another month or two specifically ones with cars in there hands- that's probably 100% are going to wait it out. Kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. I would wait it out too but to those who have cars stuck in ports or in/around stop sale- I woulda bailed. Let's just hope the solution to the problem is thee solution to the problem. Mike
