There's some humor in there somewhere

Anders is correct. They went for a quality 2KG unit that is bolted to the transmission tunnel instead of that huge unit bolted between the feet of the passenger on the 997 GT3. My wife would not have allowed it the old way on a 30 day tour of europe so I was thankful they had been more sensible in their placement for the 991 GT3. The picture shows the wrong extinguisher...

30k right the wrongs of PAG by not offering the clubsport offering in the US? That effing sucks. Even though I can afford it I'm not willing to pay that. I'm out.

I would have thought the GMC remove able half cage with schroth harnesses and a recaro halo with passenger pole position recaro sides and sliders would cost 1/3rd of that cost installed be 50lb lighter and at least as good quality probably better....

I think it's more like 1/6 the cost. Lol. No thorax airbag and not oem, though, but I'm gonna have to deal with it

Orthojoe. No idea on the GM half cage cost but guess 3.5K installed. Halo will be around 2.3K with hardware. PP maybe 1.1K with hardware. Schroth hardnesses 500 a side. Fitment of seats and harnesses 1K. 8K all up. 1/4 the price!

Recaro is better than OEM. Thorax - who needs that with Hans. Most competition 911s Im with on the track dont have a single airbag.

Frankly, if seriously tracking this car a Recaro Halo is 300% safer and more secure than the factory luxo folding buckets. I say this having the clubsport 003 spec myself. Its great for fast road work and occasional track days but if you are getting serious on this platform you will want to ditch those anchors and get some serious kit in there....
