Gallardos are great deals. With awd they are actually practical as i have seen people put snow tires on em'.

I was just at my dealer to renew the loaner paperwork (for insurance reasons). They had a white GT3 on the floor. I had not seen the car cleaned up before. I had seen it in the dealer parking lot but it had all the protective coverings on it.

The car was the best looking Porsche on the showroom floor. By far better looking than the 991TTS which was near it. SA told me they have had several people offer to buy the GT3 but it had already been sold.

There is no way I would give this car up. For as long as I can remember, I always felt Porsche's 911 form was all about function and therefore lacked WOW appeal. The 991GT3 has that and more. IMO the best looking 911 they have ever built.

Thanks, kosmo. Finding somewhere I feel comfortable parking it is often as difficult as finding a G spot...

Jimmy-D, I see in the other thread you had the V10/manual in an R8. The drivetrain is the best part of the Gallardo - since you have already experienced it, you are probably better off waiting on the GT3.

Alan Smithee - You probably right. Every time I get frustrated at this Gt3 fiasco it make me feel better when I threaten to buy some thing else

I have a balloon white Gallardo Spider, 6 speed with black leather. I have had it for 3+ years. It's basically an Audi in terms of switches and A/C controls and everything works great.
The overalll design /styling, stance , and Italian automotive appeal are really incredible. There are super incredible deals on these cars and it is really a buyers market. There are tons of low mileage easily driven never tracked cars sitting on battery trickle chargers.

These cars are quiet and Audi re skinned gallardo s as R8 V10 cars. My car has HJS 200 cell sports race cats and a fabspeed high flow X pipe. Saved 75 pounds and dramatic 10 cylinder V10 howling sports car sound.

It's nice to sample and try other cars. If anyone wants to drive the car it is at fabspeed.
