I wonder if the new RS might have additional side air vents behind the front fenders. These spy shots seem to show false panels covering this area (hence the unusual appearance around the fuel flap). They also seem to show a screen in the back of the front wheel well. (FWIW, it would be nice if they could develop a similar screen for the front of the wheel well too, to prevent the problem in the "Front radiator Stoned" thread--and maybe these could even be compatible on the GT3.) Incidentally, the same appearance of a panel taped on the hood may be camouflaging another intake there (similar to the 1973 RS or perhaps the current RSR?).

There is also the tape (?) covering something on the front hood. I was thinking maybe that could be something similar to what's on the hood of the RSR (not the fuel cut-out, obviously).

Heard rumors that GT3RS will be on auto show Paris 2014 ! If the car will be announced ,
How long it takes to place an order at dealer after the car shown on autoshow? (For Porsche)

Also interested
When the GT3 announced at auto show in march 2013 , how long it takes to make an order at dealer?

Tried to search in internet, as far as i understand practically right after show (1-2 weeks) you can place an order ,is that true ? If so i think i will change my order on GT3RS instead of GT3 order which will come on march-may 2015
If i can place an order in october for GT3RS , + - 7 months of waiting, it will be May or June of 2015 practically same time as GT3

What you think guys?

Good eye. Didn't notice the fender tape or screen. Interesting stuff.

Agreed. Will be interesting to find out details about the aero and the levels of downforce. Seems to be a major focus and I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers are impressive.

I suggest you base the decision on how you plan to use the car, not when it'll be available.

Agreed. The RS may be set up in a way that is far less usable daily or near daily.

Not sure about how things work in your country, but in the US, you can speak with your dealer now and put your name on a list. Deposit requirements and amounts vary.

Unlikely. The 458 replacement will undoubtedly move the game on again with forced induction, and more active aero.

...if you consider forced induction moving the game on.
