How much did your MY2015 order get pushed out?
I had a confirmed build date & commission number (estimated delivery of June 6, 2014) for a MY2014 that had gotten locked in just a couple of weeks before the engine fire drama ensued. I got a call this weekend from my dealer saying that we had to reload the build in PAG system b/c some of the options had changed. He gave me an updated estimated delivery date of late October / early November, basically pushing out delivery by ~5 months. Does that sound similar to what other are experiencing in terms of production delays?
I'm sure this info is buried somewhere in the Stop Sale thread, but I dare not go reading that tome of negativity
Just wanted to see if this delay is more or less similar to other U.S. orders.

Hey Ken - Good luck getting your car... As you may know, I bailed on the GT3 so I'm counting on you to carry the torch in Atlanta! My car was a 2014 and was sitting at the factory indefinitely engineless. Did not want to invest in a 2014. Good luck with the process!

sgroer: sorry to hear that - any thoughts on what you're going to get instead? i think you'd mentioned an R8 V10 in a prior thread, but maybe that was someone else. i have a mint '08 RS4 that is going to have to keep me content for the rest of the year. i'm gonna stick with it and see what happens.

Took delivery of a 14 C2S and loving every minute of it!

My car was to be April build too. Dealer confirmed it will now be Sept/Oct. But it has not been re-entered, so I consider it not yet firm. Still 5 -6 months seems likely if not longer. All the delivered and built but not delivered 2014s have to be addressed first and rightly so.

I am being told about the same delay, my original expected delivery was May now I am being told October. However, I am remaining flexible I have little to no confidence that PAG will hit that date... If they do it will be a happy surprise.

So if you were in line for MY2014, would you consider yourself an early Adopter?
I can't wait to buy the things I want either, but with the big buys I usually wait some time for revisions.
Still cannot figure out why Porsche got rid of the Amaranth Red color option? Was it just not selling? Sorry for going off topic there.
Hope didn't order Amaranth Red.
But if I were to ever buy a GT3 to spec it would be base white - it just seems to be the "RIGHT" color for that car.

There are a bunch of us on another thread. I referred to it as "the list" we've been updating that thread as we hear things specific to our situation. My May 9th delivery got pushed into a 2015 model year. My original build was cancelled last Friday and a new build was entered today. September build October delivery. No specific dates though.
I'm waiting to see what they offer to incentivize with to wait the extra 6 months. I do think given everything going on and the generality around using months and not dates or weeks means they will deliver the car in October. Could just be October 31st.
As another member here asked me, does any other car offer this bang for the buck? And I've been working on a few alternatives but probably not.
Maybe a TTS or a mclaren 12c

Were only the allocations for orders that got pushed to 2015 released today? Meaning, do they have all their allocations for all of MY2015 or just the ones that were pushed from 2014?

Anyone wants to switch. I could be open to that!
