Maybe not the proper thread but for anyone that has a car that was at the factory in production at the time of the stop sale have received any confirmed date of when they expect the car with the new engine to arrive? Latest from Ian was maybe early next week. Thanks

I have a V290 at the factory. Original delivery date was May 23 (today). The system is right now saying November 7 for revised delivery.


here's what Rennlist Member "RUF RS" said this week in the Engine Swap Dates thread, fwiw..

"I spoke to Ian today. My original delivery date was 5/16. I have a VIN, and my car is a 2014 which sits at the factory awaiting the engine swap.
I was told that the tentative date for swap is 8/29.....
More specific info and locked dates due next week....Might be a little earlier, might be a little later...."

For me being in Chicago if it arrives past October 15th it would go right into storage for 6 months. Main reason why I will sell the car the day it arrives. Don't want to tie up cash for that long.

My Ferrari (not Fiat) dealer or we should now call Porsche VW's, called me last month and had a F12 allocation for me. That car is a July Production and likely will arrive long before my GT3 which was to arrive May 2. The F12 should arrive in September or maybe late August.

Sold my 458 in 2 days.

At least now I have the Porsche loaner for the summer, fall and maybe winter of Chicago!!

Received an update from dealer now showing my 2014 getting engine swap on sept 12 with delivery on oct 31. Pretty comical at this point

Has anyone renegotiated price with the dealer? I was 5k over in over for a Mar delivery. NO chance if pay that now considering the delays and my14 devalue... Just want an idea of what others are getting... Thanks

No way! Mine was two over MSRP, and we absolutely renegotiated. I start emailing my dealer and dialog about this.
