Well, the first time my GT3 order got delayed (because I made a change to my order), I decided to keep it at least until the GT3 arrived. I had too many track plans to be without.

My April 14 build is now a '15 build and I would say if you have not entered production yet you should also get a '15

There is a post in the stop sale thread that April builds are postponed to October. Just a rumor.

3/20 V170 no delivery date

I have inquired about the price increase, my dealer believes that Porsche or the dealership will adsorb the difference (for same options).

Update from my dealer. My allocation was officially moved to MY2015 by PAG. MY2015 options in the Configurator apply to my build.

Allocation is for September build with an October delivery.

Definitely better than my worst fears, I had braced myself for a delivery as late as December given all the 2014 fixes and the uncertainty with that timeline.

My build got a new commission number and currently shows V170. Dealer just enter the build today around 3:30pm ET so maybe next week it will get back to V200.

Really? Did your dealer call you? My delivery was for early to mid may. I wonder where that puts me. This also conflicts with the other posts which suggest that April builds were pushed October

My dealer hasn't said a word.

Mine either. I will check on mine Monday. Maybe a call to my case person at PCNA. Well mine was scheduled for May delivery, so I guess I'll be in Oct group too. At least it's 2015 car. At least we have an idea of date. The summer is blown, but at least we are not in the dark anymore. Could be worse I guess. Like no car this year at all.

When did your dealer give you the July / August time frame?

I never had a MY2014 build but my August build of MY2015 pushed back to likely 1st quarter 2015, according to my dealer. Still hoping for the CF bucket seats.

As far as saving money this is the smartest thing Porsche could possibly do at this very moment in time.

So, ANY GT3's that haven't left the factory.... well, Porshce can do and call them whatever they want to.

So you have a car on the assembly line waiting for the new motor. It's now a 2014. They call, ask what you want and tell them to call it a 2015. Magic!

Porsche gives you the option of magically making it a 2015 outa thin air. It's just some paperwork for them and perhaps modifying a few engine/chassis stamps and your door tags. That's it!

That way all the 2014's are now 2015's and those of you that have been in the dark won't cancel and porsche doesn't give a sh*t that it reduces the original amount of 2014's out there and now there will be obviously more 2015's. So some guys get really early ones (2015's) and that's that.

As for the guys with 2014's sitting outside at the ports with snow or bird sh*t on them they get the new motors and an extended powertrain warranty.

The guys with 2014's that already have miles, in their garages waiting for the dealer to call and tell them their motors are in stock or the guys who's cars have already been flat bedded back to the dealer. .... those guys are the ones that should get their new motors, Turbo loaners, extended warranty, $$ compensation and strippers for 3 years no questions asked.

From a money standpoint that'll be the cheapest way out of this thing for Porsche. If Stuttgart is reading this you're welcome in advance and please send me a care package with a X51 powerkit to McKenna Porsche in Norwalk and a gift certificate for the free installation. Much obliged.

lol. I like the way you think Marcus. During negotiation I'll put in a good word for you on the powerkit.
