I hate me..
So is there going to be a number of 2014 delivered post Stop Sale builds we all refer to as 2014.2's. What a cluster f**k.

My prediction; no, because the cars already in the hands of owners will get exactly the same engine upgrades that will be installed in cars to be built for the remainder of the 2014 model run. IMHO, people are trying to over-think this thing....

We should honour the stop sale editions as the Porsche 991 GT3 SS edition!

If it were me... I would make everything that hasn't been built a 2015. Of course I'm not making the decision. I did just take an allocation that will be a 2014 car, July build, so, it will have the new engine. I'm not that concerned. I just really want the GT3.

You need to snap out of it. You'll have the same car with a 2015 and a happy heart.

RSDARCAN: I just got a call from my dealer. My order is locked with an estimated June 6th delivery date (car will likely be built in the next month or so barring any additional clusterf**k delays). He informed me that the car will technically be a MY2015 instead of a 2014. Seems that Porsche is anticipating this issue and literally calling a car produced in April 2014 a 2015 model year. Craziness.

I agree, it would crush the 2014's... If they do this it would create peace of mind for all of the cars coming out of the factory. I think they should offer to any existing owners to give the car back and they should have first dibs on all 2015's. I think that would be fair. I'm headed to the dealer tomorrow and will see what he says about new production MY 2015...
