...I suspect with the correct custom ducktail you could get enough rear downforce but with higher drag, if you'd prefer that look. The other option would be to do something custom and less aggressive in addition to pulling the front splitter- the last thing you want is more front downforce than rear, as it will make the car unstable at speed.
I'm unaware of any aftermarket company working in this direction, but you might be able to convince someone competent if you're serious. A ducktail GT3 would be kinda cool.

Nice try, but not quite... Factory duck looks great, but now you just need to cut a big air ram duct to help the engine a bit.

I guess the 911 platform being rear engined does not leave much room for the engineers for aerodynamics development unlike the mid-engined cars. Those could find down force with rear diffusers, thus negating the need for big spoilers.
