@jlee504 -- If you ask for a current Vehicle Status tracking sheet, it usually has 3 columns of dates: Planned Date, Expected Date, and Actual Date. It has line items that detail each step from fixing the vehicle specs to port entry to dealer inventory.

If you had one of these, would be interesting to see if the various dates were impacted as of yet.

Good to hear and congrats. I would also place an order if I hadn't already despite the recall/press. 50 years of heritage doesn't collapse from 2 cars. It'll all get sorted.

Thanks for the advice. I went through this process with my current 2012 991s Cab. It was a very early cab, one of the first in the Northeast and everything went like clockwork until it got to the port in Rhode Island. There is sat for almost three weeks because Porsche had not yet "officially" released the cabriolet to the American public.

I will ask my dealer to send me the vehicle status sheet every couple of weeks; I am tempted to find an excuse to be in Germany the week it's being built - wonder if they will let me see it on the production line?
