Default 991 GT3 Bi-Xenons with PDLS Black Housings

These lights are $2070 retail per light. I have a basically brand new pair. Long story short I have a buddy who converted to the LED's and these came off the car at under 20 miles. I may sell them if someone is interested. I think they will fit on any 991 Carrera I would assume. I figured I'd give the new GT3 guys first shot. Maybe someone will want a spare set for track cars or if someone didn't do the upgrade on their builds.

Porsche Part Number: Porsche PN 991-631-997-50 Main Headlamp and Porsche PN 991-631-998-50 Main Headlamp

Thanks for letting us know 1st. I have black PDLS on my car when it arrives but was just curious to know how much it cost your friend to convert to LED? I was told its not possible to convert to LED's and this is good news for those that may consider LED's.

I'm not sure I didn't ask about that. My buddy tracks his cars and usually has spare brand new everything as well but I'll ask.

FYI. Suncoastparts sells the pair of black PDLS headlight assemblies for $2695 which is a drop in replacement for any car already equipped with PDLS. To upgrade a standard bi-xenon car it costs an extra $1000 for headlight control modules.

Are those kits for $2695 OEM Porsche units like this pair that I have? That would be a pretty hefty discount off the $4140 retail. "Black housing conversion" doesn't sound like the entire OEM unit but I'm not sure.

Suncoast is a Porsche dealer and commonly sells OEM parts at nearly wholesale. Everything I've ever bought from them has been OEM, and the few things they offer that aren't are clearly marked.

Sounds good. I'm still wondering if their kit is the complete setup. Either way if anyone wants these let me know. Price will be reasonable for sure. I'll double check with SunCoast tomorrow that their parts listed are the same Porsche Part Number: Porsche PN 991-631-997-50 Main Headlamp and Porsche PN 991-631-998-50 Main Headlamp

Just talked to them, the guy over thinks they are the same but they have different part numbers. His are $2695 and another $1000 if you need the control modules. I would sell these for under $2695 if someone needs them.

Good lord is right.

My car came with the Bi Xenon in black with PDLS. I wouldn't have taken a pass on the car if it didn't have the blk PDLS and cane with silver.

Why is the option only priced at $1,485 on my window sticker?

It's because the car comes standard with Bi Xenon. The price you paid when the car is optioned new is just the incremental cost of the PDLS with black housing.
