Another track video and tire status update

The car is insanely fast. I am reaching my learning curve plateau in it. It is very well composed (any lack of composure on track is operator induced). This video is at MSR 1.7 mile CCW. There was a lot of traffic ahead and once my tires got to temp, I had to wait to lap #12 to get a clean run. Lap time was 1:18:99. For reference, my best time in the 991 C4S was 1:22:81 and in the 991 TTS was 1:19:69. With fresh tires and smoother driving, I think low to mid 1:18s is realistic. Fast car!!

I have counted exact track days and I have now done an equivalent of 5 (each day 80-100 minutes over 3-5 runs). While the tires (esp the fronts!!) are wearing, my times are improving with practice so I am guessing maybe 1 or two more days. Not bad at all, considering I have close to 2,400 miles total.

No fires and no reduced engine performance issues.

Great videos. And good to hear of an owner thoroughly and safely enjoying the new metal.

Love it. Thanks for the update on tire wear!

Thanks for the report and also posting the video. Nice driving. Interesting to hear that the fronts are wearing considerably as well. Are the tires u were running OEM? I suspect so as I think the OEM tires are the only sets available? I may be wrong here...

Really appreciate u keeping us in the loop on what is going on with your car. Your usage would be my intended usage as well so good to see and hear how the car is handling it.

Keep it coming...

Nice piece of driving! Anyone challenge you and if so what type of car?

Love the track! Allows for speed with wide open bailout areas.

Wow! Wish there were so few cars at the DE days I frequent.

Pretty awesome that you were passing EVERYONE!

LOL. Every GT3 report should begin this way!

Do you recall what tire pressures you were running when hot? I can't wait to try out the PSC2.

Excellent, and nice driving. thx for posting. Sounds like the tires last long time. Hear you or some yell Tires in the video. Guess you could feel them wearing.. I imagine there up to Heat after 1 lap... -I'm coming from bikes and on a Liter bike i have to change the Rear after a full day. Fronts about 2.
