I really wonder how many Boxster and Cayenne sales such dealers lose due to these games. Especially in areas where the next Porsche dealer is the next suburb over... Is it a case of spending a dollar to save a nickel?

Porsche North Scottsdale is charging 40K over MSRP and getting it. They sold a white one at 210K Rediculous!

-- -Yep, was there and saw it.. Amazing mark up.. think it was a 163k msrp car.. One sales guy thought they were crazy going for 40k, but guess they got it.. Huhh.. ... Got a Nano Tint ,and clear bra when I was there before I shipped to the Polar Vortex.. LOL.. much cheaper.. (Contrast between an Blue S and GT3 to see what you get for the extra 100k.. ).

Yep thats the white one I was referring to. Funny thing that sapphire Blue S is 123. They have had it now for a few months. I keep drooling on it every time I go in. Good chance next year I'll get a loaded up 911. But the GT3 thing has me a bit irritated. I want one but i cant get an allocation because, "i haven't bought enough cars". Well, I would be up to two if I could get the GT3 lol...PNS really has the market cornered In Phoenix. They need compitition to knock them back in line

-- Yea, seems you have to go national for this car if you really want one... I called dealers all over the country last year. Some laughed, and some were helpful. Chicago, and Scottsdale were pretty aloof and tried to sell me a turbo.. Anyhow.. Now my friend from Scottsdale is getting his Pan GTS from my dealer out in LA. Interesting how that works! (It's about 1k to ship car form AZ to Chi, maybe 600 from LA to Phx.. so it's really an option to go out of state). [all business have rent to pay, investors to satisfy, and sweat equity, so i respect them trying to maximize their profit, as much as my right to find the best situation for my self]
