Will 19" Wheels fit on the 991 GT3?
#61
Just a quick update for the 19" oz ultraleggera.
We did the lower bolt modification but at the end they would not fit.
The wheel rim will slightly touch the lower arm itself and even the hub frame.
It s because how the oz ultraleggera is made with the interior diameter changing in a bend just near the lower arm.
So without bigger modifications they wont fit.
But the centerlock part of the wheel itself should fit without problem so of course other brands or models could fit.
I dont know if the oz superforgiata wheels are different in the inner part or exactely the same.
Of course many other really nice brands out there that made forged wheels
but for track use the oz would have been light enough and strong for much cheaper than forged wheels.

I have a friend using 19 inch OZ Superforgiata on his 991 GT3 at the track. They we're from a 997.2RS. No problems just the usual rear control arm bolt issue but easily dealt with. He runs Hoosiers 265/325. In order to avoid/eliminate any rubbing minor caster adjustments are needed in front using the adjustable caster pucks from tarett.
Given this forum hasn't been updated in a while has anyone else tried this or found a similar solution for 991 GT3 19 inch wheels?

I have several sets of forgelines in 19. They cleared the larger PCCB, but barely, so I switched to the iron rotors and corresponding calipers. Running 265/325...but I didnt change the caster pucks. I did buy the different bolts for the rear control arm so I didnt have to shave mine.

Do you have any tire rub on front inside wheel wells? I was told with the 19 inch 265s I needed to add the caster pucks to essentially pull the tire back a little to avoid tire rub.
