No Nick. It does not show the vessel name yet. Dealer said check back next week. Their system is not updated yet with vessel name.

Default Marina Ace has arrived

After an exciting 2 weeks of tracking the Marina Ace from Emden, it has finally docked in Brunswick GA. It's kind of cool watching the journey. I am on Hilton Head Island 80 miles north of there so my car should be here soon. I spoke to the dealer today but they have no idea when it will actually arrive. They have a projected date of 2/21 a full month earlier than expected. I can't believe that it is a totally random process. I bet the dealers could find out more if they really wanted to. Any way my Black GT3 is close and the anticipation is building. Google Porsche Cars at the Port of Brunswick. It's a huge operation. I Sold the 991S today. It's all coming together!

@silverrules -- My car entered Emden after yours, but was shipped on 1/30 on Volans Leader. You are located on the West Coast, correct?

Thanks, @silverrules! But my point is--would it be possible that bc of info lags, your car is actually on the same boat as mine? Bc I got to port several days after you did--would be strange if my car got there after yours and left before yours if we are heading to the same port, no?

Volans Leader should be arriving on the east side of the Panama Canal around 2/15. My car entered the Port of Emden 1/21. I was hoping my car was on the Volans Leader. I emailed my sales rep on Friday 2/7 still no date of departure and no boat name yet. Wondering what's up? You guys are showing dates and ship names. I've been tracking everything leaving from port between 1/29 to 2/8. I got the iPad app for Marine Traffic and loaded every thing into my fleet. It doesn't have the 5 boat restriction like the website. I finally told myself no more looking until I get a ship name.

Obsessed maybe??? This wait is killing me.

I have to believe the up to data in the Porsche system for dealers is running behind. Too many inconsistencies. I would wager most of us will get our cars sooner than what is presently in the dealer system.

0Q991 maybe yours just rolled up when the boat was shoving off, and got on last minute. Meanwhile silverrules and mine got stuck in the back of the line and missed the boat. JK

Having trouble figgering out my status. Was expected to leave Emden 1/31 and arrive in Houston 2/21. But as of last Monday 2/3 it didnt give an actual departure date. Not sure if the system shows one now.

Gotta figure out this lease v. purchase thing vis a vis the business.

If you can't tie it into business will you purchase? I cannot tie it to business and still on the fence on whether to write a check or lease. Right now I am 80-20% to buy. It depends on how attractive leasing terms are which based on past experience are not.

At this point, I'm just hoping for the best for all of us. The process has had its fair share of inconsistencies--the hope is that we will all receive our cars in just a matter of weeks and sooner than later.

Then, we'll be on the road and these ups and downs will be in the rear view!

I would think all the dealers web site are updated from the same system. Not sure how come 0Q991 dealers shows the vessel and ours does not. The report shows my car left the port on 2/7 so it's not sitting on the port. I am willing to bet we are on the same boat guys.
