Default 2014 Rolex 24

Rolex was fantastic as always!

The Corvettes were fast

So were the Porsches

Corvette Daytona Prototype is the 2014 overall winner, congratulations Action Express

The sponsors were represented

And the kids stole the show

Family and friends raced together, placed together and joked together

and Porsche Factory drivers accomplished another step in the mission winning GTLM in the 2014 RSR !

My wife and I had a great time. We were there in support of team Seattle. To benefit children's hospital in Seattle. 911 GT Daytona. Run by Alex job racing who also had the weathertech 991. Leh keen one of their drivers. Nice to see the Porsche 991 RSR. LEDs on side of car helped in knowing running place in class and red for pro and blue for Pro am. C7r corvettes nice also as were the Ferrari's, vipers and Aston martins. Witnessed the red flag crash 1000ft down from us. Our prayers are with the drivers.

Thanks for posting those great pics reidry. Did you take those?

How did I forget to DVR this?!

Great result for Porsche in GTLM. The GTD race must have been incredible with the #45 Audi R8 nipping the #58 Porsche by only .2 of a second!

Hope I can find a replay of this somewhere....

I did enjoy them. Beautifully done. The ones with the Ferris wheel in the background are spectacular. Thanks for sharing them with us!

You must have a fantastic camera, great job! The tires on the RSR seem low profile, anyone know the size?

Not sure what width, but they are Michelin 18's.

Great race. Congrats to the factory Porsche effort. I was there in person this year for the first time. Good fun!
