We need a video to hear the exhaust and confirm it's NA or FI, still unclear what is going on with the front trunk.

If you go back a bit in the thread there is a PET diagram of the RSR intakes which takes air from the side scoops into the NA engine...

I think that is what we will see with the RS. Notice that the gt3 intakes on the deck kid are not present on the spy photos. No other place to draw the air in except from the side. Now, that doesn't exclude the possibility of it being a turbo, but I think that is highly unlikely.

Thanks for that. However, I'm in the UK. Anyone know where I can get them here? They're not in Porsche Tequipment catalogue. Are they office Porsche items? I wouldn't want to put aftermarket stickers on!

Its not a turbo, heres' why; one word: "intercoolers"; every turbo since the 996 has used twin turbos with dedicated intercoolers co-located close to each turbo
and low down, copying the RUF design I believe.

This car has *no* intercooler ventilation visible anywhere... its N.A ... and after seeing the RSR PET page, its clearly using that technology to flow intake air from
the side scoops to the intake plenum.

That's very generous of you, thanks Larry! Does anyone know if these are official Porsche items? The fact they were on the car out testing with the RS makes me think they might be but I can't find them on the Porsche website.

The 991 RS is a 4.0 liter normally aspirated engine. That's official.
