Pretty disappointing showing from Porsche at the show. TTS was their gated off car and the Boxster Spyder was of course there. No 918 even there - I asked why there wasn't an RS and the response was they didn't want to steal thunder from the Spyder.
McLaren pulled out all stops with a factory F1, P1 GT3, 675LT, 650S and 570S.

You would t know there was one or Porsche even offers such cars. Probably 10+ race cars on the floor including a Honda Indycar, Redbull F1 for Infiniti etc. Porsche had a lot of 981s, Cayenne, Maxan and Targa GTS to go with Spyder and TTS.

the more i look at the rs, the more i appreciate the standard 911 carrera form.
unadorned it is perfect.
i know aero is important for end-goal, but designers these days try too hard to create drama in design that they overlook the art of subtlety.
the std gt3 looks much more elegant yet packs almost the same punch, the difference being very marginal in my books.

agreed - the rear end looks 'too busy'.

Oddly, I like the black plastic... Only because it has a matte finish (like all cheapo black plastic does). I am worried, however, that it'll be more susceptible to premature aging (and greying) due to Sun damage.
