Default Aluminium - Anthracite

I thought this might be of interest to some people who are yet to spec their cars. These are pictures of:

Brushed Aluminium Anthracite Pack - option P1B (UK spec)

Very nice. Quick question re RHD. I know that manual cars have the same configuration as LHD but for the PDK in manual, do you move the shift lever to the left like we do or is it to the right? If it moves to the left, do you accidentally get it back into Auto if you use the lever to shift, because of your seat orientation?

Great looking interior. The trim looks fairly light in color though (more like standard brushed trim, instead of the darker anthracite). Is that just the lighting?

Thanks - you're right, it does look darker in reality. The pictures were taken with an iPhone with flash. I'll try again tomorrow in daylight with a proper camera and without flash.

Thanks Sam. The lever is moved to the left for manual shift so RHD is the same configuration as LHD so far as I can tell. I haven't used the lever to shift gears as I've been using the paddles so I can't answer your second question. I still prefer the manual box if I'm honest although there are some advantages to an 'automatic'

Have you got the leather interior pack as well? Or do all cars have those stitches on the dash and door trims?

That's the full leather interior with silver stitching.

Love the leather but it's an extra £1,967 in UK and that's a lot of cash for some stitches!

That's correct. If the car was a club sport spec, I probably wouldn't bother with leather however, since it's a comfort spec, I opted for it.

Now the GT3 has PDK, it doesn't matter which side the steering wheel is on

capt mojo:

thanks for the photos. so I am clear on ordering. center console comes with the dash and door trim, correct? (there is no separate option to select console.) cofigurator reads console is included, however, we all know how wrong that has been over the years.

I believe that the Center Console is a separate selection.

when ordering leather there is a separate selection. an additional selection is not evident when ordering alum. if we trusted what porsche states in the description, we have faith in what is included.

@911dev -- Thanks for the clarification. I guess Porsche just decided to be inconsistent with how Leather trim or Carbon trim is ordered.

Porsche inconsistent or confusing with ordering protocol?!
