After spending a couple days w/ a buddy in Phx and getting Clear Bra, and Nano Tint, decided to PUNT. Sorry guys. Ha Ha.. Felt like the right thing to do. The car is just to gorgeous to drive into a snow storm, and put all those high way miles on it. That was my gut feel. I stay'd with her as they loaded the truck. Now back in Chicago counting the days till she gets here. Hard to part with. -Note, it drives as good as any car on the highway. Sitting in it from LA to Phoenix for 4 hours.. it really grows on you. I'd recommend LA->Vegas once an a while, but Chi too far for me with this car. -- (Not that it's un comfy.. I'd feel the same about a Panamara GTS.). At least some more picts. Even looks good in the back of the truck.

I would do the same thing. I lived in Michigan for 6 yrs so I know what salt can do to your car. Cheers.

At least you got to put some good fair weather miles on the car. Safe journeys the rest of the way!

The weather the last few days in Chicago has been rough so it would have been tough. I am coming north next weekend from Florida, hopefully the weather will be better.

And there is a huge pileup on national news in Indiana. This has been a rough winter.

Yes. Full on winter here in Chicago. Glad I spent some q time in SoCal and Phx with it.. as its going to be tough to get it out on the street this winter.-- More pics at least.. I couldn't get enough till I got the it. -- . Car is an all around champ, from Mtn Roads, to LA night clubs.. LOL..

PS ---good contrast of a GT3 next to a blue 4S. Look like totally different cars.

Selling dealer outside Chicago wouldn't agree to my plan for a Courtesy Delivery in Austin. The GM said they would lose control of setting the car up, there could be CSI issues(?) and if the car were to arrive in Austin with issues of any sort, the Austin dealer would have no motivation to help.

So now I need to decide if I will ship from Chicago to Austin in early May or drive. It's about 18 hours with Springfield, MO the midpoint. Not exactly an exciting drive. Thoughts?

I'll drive it down to you. Just cover gas. I'll cover meals and hotel.
