est. time to spec?
 

Those who have ordered. How much time before your build, are you getting a call to spec your car?

I have a confirmed Q3 allocation. I would guess I'd have to begin spec about 8-10 weeks before projected build?

Did your dealership get their next allocation? I spec'd mine in Nov 14th and build begins Jan 17th.

They had it in the first round. I saw the confirmation. So, about two months, thanks!

I bet they won't stop production now. Most likely and if its wide enough problem a recall later.

In the past, that is what most manufacturers did. Maintain production and recall later. However, they have learned it is not the most financially prudent alternative. Better to fix the car before leaving the assembly line.

The "Vehicle Fixed" date for my car was 12/16/13. It was scheduled to enter production 1/10/14 and to be completed 1/17/14. It actually entered production on 1/08/14, was completed 1/14/14, and entered the Port of Emden yesterday (1/15/14), which is 9 days ahead of the originally planned date. Apparently, they didn't choose to hold my car up. I surely hope any changes/improvements have already been incorporated for current production.
