Leilani, I sat in both types of seats at the dealership.
I went with the adaptive seats mostly because my other Porsche's have them and I also plan to occasionally track the car. I'm only 5 foot 7" and weight about 160lbs, but I was perfectly comfortable and stable sitting in the sport seats. Unless you track the car where the extra bolster support could come in handy, I don't think you will miss the adaptives, plus you've got an extra $2600 in your pocket!
