Default New GT3 Build Spot

I have a build spot for 2nd quarter (april-june) for a new GT3. Premium is $5000. Given the market for the new cars is the premium fair?

When did you get allocated the spot by the dealer or first request it? If you're talking about putting a deposit down now / today for that and only paying a $5k premium, that's a bargain. Common to hear of dealers demanding $15-30k premiums if they can give you a spot at all.

Spending an hour on this forum will cost you $5k in option envy alone.

Jump on it. That's a fair deal.

For sure, I have done my fair research on the car and $5K for a premium is lunch money.

If you want it that bad, pay for it. I would never pay above MSRP for a car. Principle.

Is it the 1st time you purchase from them? I would negotiate and have them remove the $5K then put down a $10K deposit. Everything is negotiable. Just work it.

I was at the NAIAS pre-show today , Porsche had every production car on display including a final prod model of the 918, Missing from the platform was the GT3, Why? Idk, but perhaps because the demand is sooo high that they have sold every allocation and did not want to even keep a display model, so 5k is not at all that bad especially now.

Are you serious!? I'm flying out to Detroit especially to take a look at the gt3. How disappointing and unacceptable

I'd pay that in a heartbeat.
