Congrats on the Spyder. My dealer had a black one on the floor when I was last there and I was very tempted to buy it.

Thanks - I LOVE THIS CAR. What fun. Had it cleaned and ceramic coated yesterday and protective film tomorrow. Really excited for the weekend driving!

991RS and 987.2 Spyder 3.8L X51 = my current street Porsche setup. Planning to hold on to both for a long time. Entirely different, complimentary and spectacular cars

Hoopumpers - completely agree. They are perfectly complimentary cars - and so different but each exciting in their own way.

Jimmy-D - it is a keeper...for now! We'll see! But so far I am in love with it. I have been driving my older 911's lately too and while they are fun, and stylish, this Boxster Spyder is so much fun and the transmission is epic. I have let a few car-nut friends drive it and they were blown away...it really is a terrific car and fun both during the day and even more fun during warm California evenings. A great package!

Default 991.1 GT3 Evo Pics

Got some old pics sent to me from my friends at Evo magazine - from the time they used my 991.1 GT3 for a comparison to the new Corvette....was a fun couple of days. Great photography by the terrific Aston Parrott, and terrific driving by Jethro Bovingdon (me driving in some of the pictures here). Jethro is drifting it up on Angeles Crest Highway...and also driving around Willow Springs...fun memories.
Jeff
