Worth the wait?...Oh yeah!....Pics, comments, review
It's hard to believe, but after nearly 2 years of planning, anticipating, and waiting, there is a brand new Guards Red GT3 sitting in my driveway! I've never before been as excited about a new car, and I've also never waited this long for one. Maybe the two things are connected. I think part of the excitement has come from the opportunity to share the experience with my fellow Rennlisters; the discussion has been spirited at times but I really believe it's added to my enjoyment of the process and made the waiting more tolerable.
Excuse me if I don't spend a lot of time tonight giving feedback. I put about 50 miles on the car on the way home from the dealership and aside from an initial and very general "WOW" I'll save my first comments until after I've put a few more miles on it tomorrow. Hopefully the pics below will speak for themselves.
Besides, I'm not sure how objective I could be right now. I feel like a supermodel has decided to follow me home. It's possible she may have flaws, and they may show up in time, but at this moment it's really hard to imagine exactly what they might be.

One question / favor: Can you measure how high the splitter is off the ground, front & center? I looked at a new car @ my dealer today and it looked a lot higher than yours. I measured it and it was about 5” off the ground front & center.

Yeah, Drifiting, those are the regular optional PDLS, not the black painted ones.
Nick, well, it didn't scrape and my Carrera S with sport suspension that was 10mm higher used to. So, success!
